Eberspächer Sütrak wins sustainability award
Eberspächer Sütrak has won the International Sustainability Prize from the magazine busplaner for the second time in a row. In the bus component category, the jury awarded the prize to the AC 250 – a roof-mounted air-conditioning system tailored to the central requirements of electric and hybrid buses. The integrated heat pump with innovative air-reverse function simplifies the previously complex refrigerant circuit. In comparison with conventional systems, this offers an advantage in terms of efficiency and at the same time reduces technical complexity and energy demands sustainably. Video on AC 250
A Bigger and Better Showing of Commercial Vehicles including a World Launch
Celebrating our 40th anniversary this year, vehicle climate control specialists, Eberspächer UK Ltd, increased the size of the CV Show stand by 20% in-line with a rise in the number of commercial and utility vehicles on display from 8 to 10 customer vehicles.
With today’s congested cities and increased air pollution targets, a first for the show was the Global Launch of Mellor Coachcraft’s zero emission, Orion E electric minibus – the world’s first single step entry, fully low-floor, electric minibus.
Eberspächer (UK) Ltd
Based in Ringwood, Hampshire, Eberspächer (UK) Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eberspächer Climate Control Systems GmbH of Germany.
We were established in 1977, originally to introduce diesel fuelled independent heating systems into the UK and Eire for car, commercial vehicle and marine markets and to create a nationwide network of dealers, to provide a quick and efficient service to our growing customer base.
Eberspächer UK is a £6million development of a totally purpose built facility set on a three acre site and covers 55,000 sq ft on two floors.
The development is still within Ringwood, which the company was keen to achieve, because it wanted to retain its highly skilled workforce.
